The Lensing Problem.  Imaging applications require different lenses to focus at different focal lengths.  This allows wide scene analysis or close ups for applications like facial recognition.  These lenses need to be designed for the image array they are targetted for.  To ensure customer have options AIStorm has developed a number of different lens configurations ranging from flat lenses of just a few mm to small barrel lenses from 14 degrees to 86 degrees and greater.  Many of these lenses can be mounted directly on our ICs such as MantisConnect without the need for a lens holder.  This can take the cost of production lens solutions from dollars to dimes.  Please contact AIStorm for more information on available lenses or for custom lens options.  In the diagram below we show some applications boards with different lens configurations, however, please note that in production these lenses are directly mounted on the IC and would not include the grey holder.
